Week 4 - Feb. 3

Lecture: U of T Musicians come to Sheridan for a spotting session, S235, 12-3. We will begin this event with a quick introduction in S235, and then proceed to the 4th Year Studio for individual meetings with your composers!

Week 5 - Feb. 10

Lecture: Copyright Law for Artists, Graham Peddie, Operations Director, Mr. X Inc.  (conf.)

Mr. X is a digital studio specializing in feature film visual effects and animation. By collaborating with filmmakers from pre-production through post, Mr. X helps to define the very look and feel of a film. With recent credits such as Crimson Peak, Narcos, Penny Dreadful, The Strain, Vikings Season 3, and Marco Polo, Mr. X continues to demonstrate its passion for visual storytelling.

Workshop: Wednesday, February 17th, 2-4 p.m., A151

Animation filmmaker and Sheridan grad Carla Veldman will be giving a workshop on making films post-school. In addition to showing her work process and films, Carla will be covering how she gets projects off the ground, finding funding, time management, and what is necessary when starting off down this path.
